We welcome you to join us for a time of worship, prayer, and teaching. It's a place to connect with God and with others in the community. You are welcome to join at any service that works best for your schedule, or even both!

What to Expect
Visiting a new church can feel a little nerve-wracking; we get it! From the moment you arrive, our ushering team will be there to welcome you with a smile and help you feel right at home. Whether you’re coming alone, with family, or with friends, we want your first visit to be relaxed and meaningful.
Getting Here
We’re located in the city of San Jose! When you type 2296-A Quimby Rd into your maps app (whether it's Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze) it’ll take you right to us, the place pictured below. You’re welcome to park in any available spot once you arrive. ​
We have signs posted to guide you to the main entrance, and our team will be there to greet you with a warm welcome!
What Happens in Service
Once our ushers have helped you find a seat in the main hall, you’ll receive a Sunday flyer that includes the lesson for the day, the program schedule, and helpful announcements.

Our service typically begins with Bible reading, followed by praise and worship, announcements, preaching, and ends with a closing prayer or song. Each gathering includes uplifting worship, practical teaching, and opportunities to connect with others. Services usually last about two hours, and there’s always room for prayer, reflection, and community.

If you have children, our Li’l Sparks team will help you check them in safely and guide them to their age-appropriate classes in the room next to the main hall. Restrooms are located outside the worship area, and you’re welcome to use them at any time.
Dress Code
There’s no dress code here. Come as you are! Some people like to dress up, others come casual in jeans and sneakers. We care more about you being here than what you’re wearing.
After the Service
You are more than welcome to stick around after the service! Grab a cup of coffee, meet some of our leaders, and connect with others in our community. We’d love to get to know you and hear your story.
At Light of the World, you don’t have to have it all together to belong. You’ll find real people, authentic worship, and a community growing in faith, hope, and love. Wherever you are in your journey, there’s a place for you here.
