Li'l Sparks
Our vibrant kids' ministry is committed to creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn about God's love and truth. With interactive lessons, events, and activities, we strive to lay a strong spiritual foundation in the lives of our youngest members.
Light Ablaze
Light Ablaze is our youth ministry for students in middle school and high school. Our goal is to encourage preteens and teenagers to serve God and serve people with faith, love, and integrity. Even at a young age, we are dedicated to helping each other grow personally and spiritually as we learn how to be a light in our community.
Young Adults (YA)
Adulting isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Our Young Adults ministry is a laid-back, welcoming space for anyone embarking on the journey of adulthood. We meet once a week to share real conversations about life – the good, the hard, and everything in between. As Young Adults, we grow together, we laugh together, we lift each other up. You don’t need to have it all figured out; just come as you are.
Praise/Worship Ministry & Choir
We are singers and instrumentalists who minister through music that proclaims His excellence, unites us in prayer, fills us with joy, and opens our hearts to the Spirit’s presence. We are equally passionate about upbeat and slow tempo music, about traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
Our desire is for every church service to have sacred moments of God’s visitation. Our prayer is for the triune God to touch our hearts, heal our brokenness, embrace us in His love, and speak the Word to us. Through music, we see God at work in our congregation.

Discipleship Matters
Discipleship Matters (DM) is an exciting experience in advanced Christian studies. This is designed as a continuing mentorship that will revitalize leaders who are engaged in our various ministries: Light Groups, Praise and Worship, Choir, Men’s, Women’s, Young Adults, Youth Ablaze, Children’s Church. Join us and together we’ll learn how to share the Word and understand the Bible with courses in homiletics and hermeneutics; to discover the beauty of Biblical languages by studying Hebrew and Greek; and to explore scriptural principles on spiritual leadership. Strengthen your faith with Christian discipline and more, as you prepare to lead and inspire others. Start this amazing DM journey with us and grow in your spiritual life.
Light Groups
At Light of the World, we understand that joining a new church can be awkward and lonely, especially if you don’t know anyone. Our small groups ministry is called Light Groups (LG), and its purpose is to help us develop a deeper intimacy with God, to nurture authentic community, and to win others to Christ.​
An LG is a small group of five to ten people (or more) who meet regularly in person and online. Our LG sessions challenge us into meaningful engagement with God’s Word while we form genuine friendships with each other.​
Together, we explore God’s Word, unafraid to ask questions. Together, we laugh and weep as we share our personal triumphs and struggles. Together, we sincerely pray for each other’s needs. We are all imperfect persons, but by God’s grace, together we are constantly learning to reflect the love and character of Jesus as we strive to live for Him and for others. Ushering
We are the face of the church, greeting you at the door with warmth and love. We believe everyone is special to God, so we strive to make each member and guest feel welcomed and important. With a genuine smile and a firm handshake, we’ll help you find a parking space, guide you to your seat in the sanctuary, and assist you in every way we can.
Men's Ministry
We are a welcoming group of men who aim to support each other through prayer, friendship and the sharing of our experiences. Together we seek to grow in the faith, assist one another, and reflect God’s love in all that we do.
Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
Women's Ministry
We are dedicated to nurturing women in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our quarterly gatherings help us empower each other as we grow in the knowledge of God’s words and live godly lives. We aim to build genuine friendships as we talk about topics such as marriage, singleness, motherhood, career, and self-worth,
while staying rooted in Scriptures.
Media
The Media Team helps bring every message to life. We manage visuals, slides, and livestreams during services while capturing moments through photo, video, and social media. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone can engage and connect, both in person and online.
